As part of efforts to strengthen logistical and commercial integration among Andean nations, CEIPLA held a strategic meeting at the Port of Chancay—one of South America’s most significant and advanced port megaprojects. The meeting took place with Gustavo, Director of Peru’s Trade Office in Ecuador, with the aim of analyzing binational opportunities to boost foreign trade and regional competitiveness. The Port of Chancay is poised to become a key Pacific logistics hub, capable of directly connecting South America with Asia, streamlining delivery times, and consolidating an export network that meets high international standards. For CEIPLA, this infrastructure represents a strategic gateway for expanding the export of agricultural and agro-industrial products to global markets.

During the meeting, the core components of the CEIPLA ecosystem were reviewed, addressing topics such as:

• Optimization of export routes for agricultural products moving from Peru to the United States, Asia, and Europe.
• Integration with Blockchain Impact+™ traceability systems, ensuring transparency from the production zone to the final destination.
• Public-private collaboration to foster agricultural and agro-industrial territorial development.
• Strengthening of logistics zones and consolidation hubs to accelerate loading times and improve operational efficiency.

Director Gustavo highlighted the importance of this collaboration, noting the CEIPLA ecosystem’s potential to drive greater international competitiveness and enable small and medium-sized producers to access high-value markets. In doing so, CEIPLA Trade reaffirms its commitment to the development of Latin American foreign trade by fostering strategic alliances that build more robust, efficient, and traceable value chains.
